FAQs
Do you still have any doubts? Here you will find all the answers you need.
Yes. In addition to the models proposed, upon request we can supply a 0.45 micron polyethersulfone cartridge model with an absolute filtration degree and therefore sterilizing.
If, chosen correctly on the basis of the characteristics of the product from the filter, the average duration of each cartridge is approximately 2000 liters of filtered product.
The polypropylene and glass fiber cartridges must be washed after each bottling. Immerse the cartridges in a solution of water at room temperature and 8‰ peracetic acid or water with citric acid or our hydrochloric-based detergent "Enolclean".
After leaving the solution to act for at least three hours, rinse with plenty of running water. Leave the cartridges to dry in an airy environment and never store them in bags or drawers or other closed places, to avoid the formation of mould.
The cartridges can be washed against the current, reversing the direction of the filter housing (tandem or tandem professional) and bottling the sanitizing solution. In this way the liquid passes through the cartridges in the opposite direction to the filtration one, and therefore most of the particles retained by the filtering net tend to detach and end up in the bottle.
Finally, it is good to know despite careful and frequent washing, the average life of a polypropylene cartridge is around 2500 liters of filtered product.
